This is one of my interviewees, Ruth, who has been a secondary school, science teacher for five years at a referral unit in Surrey. After listening to her experience on school violence, I asked her two questions: Why do students act aggressively towards their teachers and who do we hold responsible for the way they act; the parents or the school?
