Last month I had to present an idea for the radio documentary in front of two of my lecturers in three minutes, with some questions after. Looking back at the pitch, I think it went well.
I had created a colourful handout to showcase the main points of my documentary and a catchy title. The pitch also included who I was looking to interview, and what I was trying to find out and accomplish in the seven minutes of my documentary. My idea was well received and considered original for my target audience and publication.
The pitch helped me research and pinpoint exactly what I wanted to find out and through the feedback I was able to recognise what else I needed to look into before my interviews were held.
